It is the Aspen Historical Society’s goal to provide electronic access to our collection. While we currently have 11,960 archival records, 1150 books in our specialty library, 7,571 3-D objects, and 46,287 photographic records, we understand this may be too much for most researchers. Want To Donate To Our Collection? The Society maintains collections for preservation, exhibition, education and research. The Society attempts to preserve collections geographically representative of Pitkin County, but also includes Marble, Colorado. Chronologically, collections encompass Prehistoric people through present day and are represented by both three-dimensional and two-dimensional artifacts.
