One b/w 35mm negative of shocks of wheat in a field, September 1962. This is near where the current Airport Business Center (AABC) is, and Highway 82 is visible on the right. Red Butte and Aspen Mountain are in the background. This image is in the Aspen Times on September 28, 1962 (page 1), with a caption reading "Driving to work in Aspen from Basalt, Mel Kralicek noted this picturesque wheat field across Highway 82 from Pitkin County Airport and suggested that it would make a striking photo. An Aspen Times photographer agreed and snapped the scene. The light patches on Aspen and Smuggler mountains are aspens in their yearly change of fashion. Judging from the number of out-of-county license plates seen in town recently, it is believed that a near-record crowd of people have visited the area to view the fall splendor." One film negative of a Model T at the top of Independence Pass, 1920-. There is a wagon just down the road from the car, and several people sitting on the side of the road nearby. The utility poles can also be seen. This image was made into a postcard that was sold at the Cooper Book and Stationery Company; the caption reads "Top of Independence Pass. Near Aspen, Colo. Altitude 12,200 feet."

One film negative looking down Main Street, 1920-. The Aspen Times building (which has "Aspen Democrat-Times" painted on it) is on the left, next to the Hotel Jerome. A car is parked in front of the Aspen Times building. On the right side of the street, the Chitwood Block and St. Mary's Catholic Church are visible. Several boys are gathered across the street from the Chitwood Block; two have bicycles and there is also a horse tied up. Nearby are posters advertising for the Gentry Bros. Circus (advertised for July). Signs on the Chitwood Block include "C.E. McGown, Undertaker," and "Stallard Bros. Tire Repairing." This image was made into a postcard that was sold at the Cooper Book and Stationery Company; the caption reads "Jerome Hotel. Catholic Church. Main St. Aspen, Colo."
