Video History interview featuring musician Larry Gottlieb, conducted by Jan Garrett, December 2022. They discuss how Larry came to Aspen as a child (his parents were both musicians with the Aspen Music Festival in the late 1950s and 1960s), the live music scene in Aspen in the 1970s, and the six weeks their band Liberty toured with John Denver as his opening act. During the last several minutes of the interview, they discuss their meditation practices and how that helps them to be “in the moment” when on stage and in life.
