B-Roll: Aspen Mtn. Skiing & Around Town Footage

Durrance Production. A 7:15 minute silent 16mm color film containing footage of Aspen and skiing on Aspen Mtn., filmed by Dick Durrance, circa 1955. The film shows Walter Paepcke, the building of the Aspen Meadows Health Center, Mill Street, Wheeler Opera House, Hyman Ave., Guido's Swiss Inn, Red Onion, Elk's Building with the post office on the ground floor, Hotel Jerome, Main Street, Lift One, Little Nell and t-bar and ski school classes. During the last :30 seconds there is powder skiing on the Big Burn, circa 1965.
